Report on latest Reunion dinner at Portsmouth, 14th May 2005.

The dinner was held, as usual at the Sailors home in Portsmouth. 50 people attended including 6 survivors. They were

• Tommy Cropp
• Sidney Petherbridge
• George Oliver
• Arthur Bryant
• Gordon Hopewell
• John Nealon

Lord Barham, Lady Gainsborough and their son Edward Noel also attended.

Lady Rosemary Griffin was unable to attend due to ill health on the day. Survivor George Elliott was also unable to attend due to poor health.

There was discussion and thought about the dinner next year which will be the 50th. One idea put forward is that the Association try to hold it on HMS Warrior which is in Portsmouth.

According to Chairman Michael Stratton Brown, the dinner "went very well".
