Jane A Stafford from Canada said... 04/10/2021  Frank Stafford My Dad, Frank Stafford, recently passed on September 28, 2021; just 2 weeks shy of his 97th birthday. I believe, at the time of his death, he may have been pretty close to being the oldest surviving crew member of the torpedoing & sinking of the HMS Barham. He had just turned 17 the month before and was a Boy 1rst Class at the time. Joanne Demwell from Kent said... 25/05/2021  Stanley Robert Hardwick Sadly my mums half brother Stanley was in the Engine room at the time of the attack and died along with so many others. My mum was 11 at the time. She sadly lost another brother the following year on HMS Bicester. One is of HMS Barham in Grand Harbour in 1935, I can e mail a copy of the photo ! He would tell me the stories as I grew up. He died in 2006. Ive been trying to trace other survivors who might of served with him, for my dad sake.
