I was wondering if anyone could give me any information on the above. He was an Able Seaman when it was sunk, and went down with the ship. I would love to hear from someone that knew him. |

Congratulations on your website. My Father Vincent Stafrace lost his life on the Barham my father was Maltese. There were 33 Maltese serving on the barham and 18 lost their lives. Not much mention of this. I will try a get more information about my dad but woth mentioning that five Stafrace brothers were serving in the Royal Navy at the same time Lewis Stafrace |

Alfred Wagstaff |
My uncle Alfred Wagstaff (P/K.65587) was born 6.1.1907 in Gosport, Hants. He and three brothers went to sea as had their father and uncles before them. Alfred was serving on HMS Barham at the time of his son\'s birth in November 1935, and on HMS Blanche in March 1938 at the time of his daughter\'s birth. Unfortuntely, he went down with HMS Tweed in January 1944. |
