Sadly my mums half brother Stanley was in the Engine room at the time of the attack and died along with so many others. My mum was 11 at the time. She sadly lost another brother the following year on HMS Bicester. Very sad x |

I am the great niece of Frank Osborne. I wondered if anyone had any photos where Frank is identified as we only have one image of him. I would love to find out more information about him. Thank you. |

Sydney Stacey |
My grandfather, Sydney Stacey, served on HMS Barham and he was one of the lucky few to survive. I would like to find out more information about him, if anyone can share, as he died when I was a little girl |

My Grandad was one of the survivors of this Ship, he lost all his hair from the oil on fire. He would tell me the stories as I grew up. He died in 2006. Ive been trying to trace other survivors who might of served with him, for my dad sake. |

RICHARD LALAND I found out late yesterday evening of Mr Richard Laland's passing. Richard kindly attended my fathers funeral in December 2012 and I have fond memories of Richard. Dad, Edward ( Ted) Harry Clow was also a survivor of H.M.S. Barham. I found out regarding Richards funeral in an amazing way. Sunday I was reading "BATTLESHIP BARHAM" book by Geoffrey Jones. I then googled HMS Barham and found Richard's survivor account and also mention of my dad. I took note of Richards connection with Buckminster road Baptist church Leicester. At Mondays choir I spoke to a lady who had a connection with Buckminster church and to my surprise and dismay found out of Richards passing. I hope to attend his funeral this Wednesday. Sincere regards Andrew Clow
